True Beginner


Hello all,

I've been lifting weights off and on for several years, mostly off though.

I want to finally get into a beginner routine and build a solid foundation before getting into more advanced moves. I'm 6'8 260 and I'm not strong overall. I want to incorporate body weight squats, cleans etc. what would be a good 3 day a week routine to start.



Starting Strength, Stronglifts, Madcow

Have your pick, doesn't matter which one


i did starting strength, after lifting for about 5 or 6 months of having squat, dl and bench press days, so not completely retarded programming. And i love SS, its easy to follow and do. no thinking, you know exactly what you have to do in the gym. although when it starts getting heavy for me the workouts would start to take a while(3 sets of heavy squats, follow by heavy pressing then either deads or power cleans)
