TRT typically lowers total cholesterol with no change to HDL. So I don’t know what seekonk is getting at.
My impression from the thread was that TRT coincided in time with development of high cholesterol. TRT should not increase cholesterol if truly replacement doses, but at too high doses all bets are off. What counts as too high depends on individual genetics.

You need to test for thyroid antibodies. Might be more than an iodine deficiency.
Would be good to get fT3, that is what gets the job done.
Meeting with the doc this week to share my labs with him; l did these labs on my own so he’ll want to do labs of his own on TSH etc. l’ll request labs on thyroid antibodies.

Do my fT3 & fT4 look ok? They’re posted above.
Does my IGF-1 look good regarding hGH?

Any experience with thyroid meds? Synthetic T4 is the most prescribed but l’ve read many good things on Desiccated thyroid extract which also contains T4,T3,T2,T1 & calcitonin.
