TRT: NP vs MD

Hey everyone - been reading these forums for about a year now and they are extremely helpful. Nice to meet everyone here!

I’ve found some decent hormone care, but I was curious: what is everyone’s experience with an MD vs Nurse Practitioner, in terms of someone prescribing your TRT care?

In many states, NP’s can now, basically, run independent TRT clinics. I’m curious of people’s experiences in working with NP’s vs MD’s on TRT.

Thank you all so much! - CountryBoy

Most doctors seem to be idiots when it comes to these things.

Good doctors are enthusiasts about these things.
Endos and urologists seem to be the worst.

You could find that a NP might be a decent doc when you get past generalizations.

Please read these stickies:

Thank you!
