TRT: Measuring HCG?

In the TRT protocol of 100mg. Weekly of Test, 1mg of Arimidex and 250iu EOD of HCG, how do you measure 250iu of HCG if you use the recommended insulin needle: 29 gauge 0.5ml 0.5" assuming the HCG comes in the 5000iu size?
And how do you measure the 50mg (pinning 2x weekly for weekly Test total of 100mg.) of Test in the same size needle as well? I’m sorry if this is posted somewhere else, but I can’t seem to find it.
Thanks for your help with this.

If hCG is diluted to 1000iu/ml, 5ml in your case, 250iu is “25” on any insulin syringe.

If T is 200mg/ml then you will need 200/4=50, so 1/4ml or “25”.

Hey KSman- Looking at my hCG bottle it’s 10 mL size and printed on the label it says 1000 iu/ml. Since it’s a 10 mL bottle are the above measurements still the same? Meaning 250iu is still ‘25’ on any insulin syringe? I tried to PM you but I don’t think it went through. Thanks for your help with this.

If you want 250IU and you have 1000IU/ml, you would take .25ml. This would be the 25 mark on an insulin syringe.

KSman- You are my Yoda. I just hope you see my other posts and can help me out when I post there.

You have 4 recent threads. How would I know where there are current issues?

Good point.
In TRT protocol for injections you mention you can and inject SC 2 or more times a week. If you are injecting 100mg. Test Cyp a week and want to split that into 3 doses instead of 2 what mare would fill the insulin to?

With 200mg/ml T cyp, 1 ml = 200mg, there are 100 insulin iu per ml on a insulin syringe. 1 iu is 2 mg of T cyp.

twice per week 50mg → “25” 50/2
three times per week 33mg → “16.5” 50/3
EOD → “14.3” 50/3.5
