On trt for about 6 months. Dhea has dropped to only 46. Need to supplement dhea obviously but what causes this low dhea on trt. Also what symptoms happen because of low dhea
I’m not sure of the “hows” and ”whys” of declining levels of dhea, but I can answer one of your questions.
Symptoms of low dhea are usually restless dreamless sleep. And of course, sleep regulates everything else so it’s a pretty big deal lol.
A low DHEA level may mean that your adrenal glands are not making enough hormones. This can be because of damage to the adrenal gland or a diseased pituitary gland.
TRT can expose other weak systems on the brink which TRT took to the next level, increasing testosterone increases demand on everything else.
