Somebody, I forgot who, posted about how they got some triticale flakes from their local co-op and how it was filled to the teeth with fiber at 25 g per 1/3 cup. So naturally, I went to the health food store to see if I can get my hands on this poop-producing machine. I found triticale, however, the package read 7 g fiber per 1/4 cup. I was disappointed and went with the pearled barley which had 8 g fiber per 1/4 cup which by the way tastes pretty good just for munching on raw. So anyways, my question is…what the hell kinda triticale flakes did you get? Because I want some.
It was me.
Seems my Triticale flakes are on the sauce, at least compared to yours.
I don’t know what was so special about mine, but I do believe the figure given for Dietary Fiber is correct. Without getting into the details, let’s just say it has a significan’t ‘effect’!
