Trick to Popping Vials

So is there a trick to popping open vials. I opened 3 in a row friday then today crushed one in my fingers, I got the second one.

I dont wanna be breaking these things trying to open them.

Yep I used a diamond nail file, but I just broke down and got an amp opener after I took a shard glass in my thumb… At least I didn’t lose any test:^)

Scoring them with a box cutter has always worked for me.

The second thing I used to do was wet some tissue with alcohol and formed a little pad around the top before I snapped it. The pad would help against crushing them and any glass that popped loose would get caught by the damp tissue.
