Tren Ace Experience

No its def not E2 related or atleast I can’t imagine it is. I got my E2 levels down to low 20s before starting cycle and In general I dont suffer from high E symptoms on high test. Altho il know soon when I get my bloods drawn. I think its just the tren it’s a common side effect elevated BP I might bring my dose down a bit and see if that helps.

This is my first Tren cycle. I opted for low test high tren for 2 reasons.

  1. Bro science. The bro science behind low test high tren makes sense to me.
  2. I don’t like high test cycles. I don’t particularly like compounds that aromoatize and I think the concept behind high test cycles is over rated and out dated. I have tons of different compounds that were created for specific reasons I can run to accomplish certain goals I’m not gonna continue to blast cheap testosterone when I can spend a bit more $ on something else that IMO works better and can have less potential negative sides.

Im a minority here at T nation with this train of thought I understand that. This forum is heavily pro testosterone. I’m not sure exactly why I think it has something to do with a large majority of the guys being here for TRT first and then venturing into blasting so naturally they stick with testosterone and raise it up to blast and repeat and they might also not desire stronger steroids. But youl notice on a lot of other forums where trt is not really a subject matter discussions are much different and rarely based around testosterone.

I’m going to start trt after this blast. My natural levels aren’t horrible but aren’t great.

200mg test E/week has me around 1400 so I imagine test p has me slightly higher

Don’t get me wrong I think testosterone is great and for many people it serves the purpose they are looking for. I just think sometimes we get closed minded to trying other options because of this belief that testosterone should be ran for as many cycles until your not getting gains from testosterone only anymore and I think that is the silliest thing ever.

Hows yur gainz so far? Im on tren cycle too…week 7 so far. Went from 188 at 19% to 192 to 13% so for. I did the classic style 1ml prop / .5 tren ace… Ran winny for 6 weeks but im done with it. Gonna bang it out
another 4 weeks see if i can hit 200…
I tried the ace higher then test but for me the trensomnia was awful. This is my 2nd tren cycle. I generally only use it for cutting. You gonna go past 8 weeks? I think the blood preasure on it cant be good. Considering dumping blood soon but I bet hemocrit is thick like syrup on cycle they may not take it. In that case were fucked for a few weeks gotta come down & thin it out.
I should mention that my cals have been around 1500 per day so tbh the nutrient partitioning tren gives if you have protien dialed in is amazing…very surprised im getting as much size as i have in such low cals…might bump the tren last 2 weeks for the finish line

Gains are great. 228-233 on the scale an noticeable fat loss. I don’t have a way to measure BF until I get a scan once it’s over but I started at 14% 4 weeks ago

I was thinking of dropping my calories if I dip below a certain deficit I feel miserable tho. With my training and daily activity my maintenance calories are around 3400 so I try not to go below 2800 or things get rough.

Im gonna drop the dose next week to 50mg/day if my blood pressure hasn’t gone down and see if that helps. I was going to originally run it a full 12 weeks and still plan on it of things go well. I have little to no sides I would run it year round if it wasn’t so harsh on the body.

You can buy a bf caliper at gnc or any health store for like $3 or just amazon. Just input readings into formula off net. Most common & easist is Jackson Pollock method 3. Those scans can be hit or miss depending of hydration & other stuff… I do mine every 2 weeks after last training day… In morning Take a shit weigh yurself then do measures. This will give u better tracking… Yea im at 1500-1800 cals a day… .5carbs per lb i feel like ass but im at tail end of a cut. Pool & Vegas season waits for no man bruh #gainz
Personally i dont enjoy the tren its a means to an end. For me a 12-16 week ol fashion all test bulking cycle feels best.

Iv never been a fan of the calipers I just can’t seem to get them right and end up with mixed readings. As far as the test if you follow the directions (no food or water morning of) the margin of error is extremely slim.

I love it. What I enjoy most is how dry I feel which is something testosterone takes away from me. I don’t mind holding water in the winter but anytime the temperature gets up there I get allergic to shirts so I try to look as dry as possible. Iv heard stories of guys running tren for extended periods of time 8+ months I just can’t bring myself to do it regardless of how much I enjoy it.

I do like the dryness too. I generally do my bulk cycles Oct-Dec then cut March-June
Only used Tren for cutting. But I do like how it takes bloat away. Was thinking this for a bulk cycle
Test cyp 250 EOD week 1-12
Hgh 4-6 iu daily week 1-12
Tren Ace .5 ml week 4-12
Winny last 3 weeks to harden up & use up gear
I think this cycle would maybe make keeping gainz on a big test cycle much easier…

It looks solid I would run something similar but ofcourse I would keep testosterone low and replace the winny with masteron

I think hgh is best run 6 months or longer my understanding is it takes a few mot hs for results to really shine. But I have no first hand experience with it.

Im curious as to how tren would work with a bulk. I’m running it in a slight deficit and the muscle gains I’m seeing remind me of a 1000 cal surplus bulk. It makes me want to try it again for a winter bulk.

Quick update iv managed to get my blood pressure down to what I feel is acceptable

125-130/70-75

Still a bit high for me but I’m not worried with these numbers compared to 140/85

Im looking at about 6 more weeks so iv decided to add in some anavar

Week 1&2 50mg/day
Week 2-6 100mg/day
(anavar is tested and it’s in its raw form)

Im also going to be tweaking my diet. I’m extremely happy with the progress so far but Iv already hit my goal for lean muscle for this cycle and I’m still a little ways off of fat loss so going to drop deficit a few hundred calories.

What did you do to lower your BP?

I had to lower my tren dose unfortunately. I was using about 75-80mg/day

When I brought it back to 50-60 mg /day my BP dropped immediately.

The only other option was using BP medicine which I wasn’t prepared to do.

Ok fellas so I added the var and everything was cool for about 3 days then I got the most horrific pumps iv ever experienced I was expecting the lower back pumps people talk about but I got pumps literally everywhere. Calfs, quads, groin, lower back, lats, shoulders, chest, even neck. The lat pumps were probably the worse especially when they hit out of no where and I’m in public and I have to grab on to something and contort my body in crazy ways trying to work them out.

So I added taurine at 12-15G/day taking 3G every few hours. This has made a world of difference I was skeptical at first because I wasn’t sure anything could get rid of them but it’s made it almost non exsistant except in the morning when I wake up my legs and groin are very tight and pumped for whatever reason which takes about 20 mins to work out.

Moving on to the next sorta issues iv noticed and that’s my erection quality when jacking it. It’s almost like I am not as mentally stimulated by porn and I just crave the real thing it still gets up but after about 5 minutes it starts to slack on me. As for the real thing everything is still working great altho the tren makes doing work in the bedroom a serious task especially sense my wife is 7-8 months pregnant I’m left doing most of the work so I find my self getting winded when normally sex never winds me. But my wife understands so she allows frequent water breaks and what not.

Now let’s discuss the positives. I didn’t think it was possible for me to get any drier right now and harder with all the mast and tren I’m using but the var has made that possible especially tightening up the mid section and has made my legs extremely vascular (I am not and never have been a vascular person). I can’t really say what affect the anavar is having in the gym as far as strength sense I’m not a PR type lifter I lift more along a body building routine but visually it’s def noticeable and appealing.

So far weight is sitting at 235-236 body fat has dropped a nice amount I will know for sure after cycle when I get tested. Training is still 6x week diet is extremely strict iv never been a big track my diet type of guy but I decided sense I was gonna try my first recomp to go all out so really been tracking macros/meal prepping. I eat like a dog 99% of the time in the sense I eat the same shit day after day. Same breakfast same post workout same mid day meal same dinner.

Breakfast is generally grits, egg whites, turkey sauagse, or oatmeal and eggwhites.

Post workout is white rice and chicken

Mid day is more white rice and chicken

Dinner is usually turkey burgers and eggs or some other protien with fats but very low carb.

As you will notice breakfast is simple or complex carbs (depending on day and what I’m training) protien and very little fats. Followed by post workout and mid day which are simple carbs and protein and little to no fat. Then dinner which is protein and fat and little to no carb. This equates to about a 60/30/10 of macros

On my off day this changes carbs take a backseat and I increase fats because I drop calories so it helps me feel fuller on less.

I do have “cheat meals” every once in a while I don’t believe in cheat days as they just lead to feeling like shit but if I’m taking my wife out to eat il have a cheat meal which still isn’t anything extravagant it doesn’t involve half the dessert menu it just isn’t clean food.

I think that about covers everything blood pressure is still slightly elevated but nothing out of my comfort zone. About to run some liver panels and CBC to see where my numbers are at and will update with results

One more thing the heartburn on this cycle has been crazy I’m up to 2-3 zantac 150s a day currently.

Quick update.

Recently had labs done for liver, cbc, and lipids. The reason for labs besides to see how my body was handling the var was due to starting Accutane.

Blood work before the var was absolutely perfect. After a month of var it’s still not bad it’s def being affected tho. iv made the decision to stop the var because I’m starting the Accutane which itself is hard on the liver and in order to take the Accutane I have to get Monthly labs and if the numbers start getting to wacky the doctor will stop the Accutane.

Having had the pleasure of using winny and now var I def enjoyed both. Var def was my favorite and will probably use again next year (especially sense I still have a shit load left)

Have about 4 weeks left with the tren. Body weight dry is at 233-234 body composition has chnaged dramatically. Having looked at some pictures from 2 months ago the difference is unreal. Iv probably accomplished in 9 weeks what would take about a year without it. The every day shots are starting to get annoying tho at first I almost looked forward to them not so much now. practicing the discipline of ED shots and really tightening up the diet has felt nice tho.

Blood pressure is still good, cardio is still in the garbage, sweating in the under arms is becoming an issue because it’s bleaching my clothes I can’t wear anything nice or really much besides white t shirts unless I’m prepared to trash it.

Forgive me if I missed it, but was the accutane added in due to the tren? Or have you always had issues when using test or ?

Also, I know you started this as a “recomp”. I know you mentioned you cleaned your diet up, did you stay at maintenance? Slightly lower/higher?

Edit: answered my own question from your May 22 post. Slight deficit but feels like your in a 1,000 cal surplus. That’s crazy!

Iv always suffered from cystic acne. It comes and goes I can go a year without a major out break then I might have a year of horrible painful acne. Iv considered Accutane in the past but wanted to try everything else (topical scrubs, antibiotics, etc) first.

Most days are a slight deficit very low fat keeping most calories from simple carbs and protein no sugar or processed shit. But there is no set guidelines to a successful recomp it’s really about finding out what works for you. I spent the first couple weeks tweaking my diet before I realized I needed more carbs then normal and less fat.

Bro, I used to sweat like a fucking pig under the arms, but then I come across two products ‘Driclor’ and ‘Perspirex’, you may have heard of them, and they both do the same thing. It is a roll-on and stops me sweating COMPLETELY under my arms literally for weeks at a time.

I imagine you can get it in the states, and you’ve likely at least heard of it, but if not then definitely give it a go.

It’s finally coming to and end. 3 months and 6 bottles of tren later. Kinda bitter sweet. I have 3 more shots left then it’s cruise time for a bit.

Overall I think it was a major success. Il know where my BF% is when I get my next scan in a couple weeks and will update I don’t think I got to sub 10% tho iv def put on some major size and lost a fair amount of lower abdominal fat which is nice. Il get some body measurements when I get my scan done.

I think if I had gone a bit lower on my calories I would have slimmed down a bit more but I’m not in a huge hurry to lose weight and it seemed like everything I ate would just go to my muscles. Which furthers my belief that using tren for the sole purpose of losing weight is ridiculous. It’s such an amazing muscle building compound I would never waste it on a strict diet. I can do that with test alone.

Speaking of which that’s probably what’s next. My son’s gonna be born in a month so gonna cruise on test and mast for a few months eat at maintenance then around fall/winter il probably go on a diet for a couple months. I have a bunch of anadrol/halo/ and dbol laying around my buddy who has never steered me wrong yet I really owe much of my success from this cycle to his guidance has a 8 week diet cycle he’s running il probably join him for. It’s a bit unorthodox it involves trt dose of test dbol for 6 weeks and halo the last 4 weeks. Ofcourse my first thought was dbol on a diet/cut cycle that crazy but when you think about it dbol is a feel good strength compound that he swears by using on a cut. He said it really helps motivation, endurance and mood when in a heavy calorie deficit which makes sense so it will be interesting to try. I know me personally I feel lethargic and moody when I diet so I think it will be nice.

Notice I diet in the winter when everyone else is bulking. I personally hate the classic winter bulk summer cut idea. When I cut or diet I’m real flat and the last thing I want to do is spend time in the heat shirtless. I love clean bulks for the summer when I’m full of energy and glycogen and really look my best and can eat out and get away with it.

Im scheduled for a scan in 2 weeks so will update then along with final weight!

So I know I said I wouldn’t be posting pics but yesterday marked the end of my cycle and also the last date night me and the wife had as a childless couple before the baby comes. So as a dual celebration of the hardwork from the cycle and her amazing job carrying our son the last 9 months we celebrated with one of those fancy dinners. It’s not a speedo Pic after the gym when I’m fully pumped so I don’t look my “swollest” I doubt il be posting any of those mainly because I just don’t take any lol.

(wife not shown for obvious reasons) I’m still a bit uncomfortable posting this but figured I’d take a chance enjoy!
