Transition from Cut to Clean Bulk

#1

hi,

I have been cutting for the last 6 weeks or so. I weight 205pounds, height is 6'2, bodyfat ~10%. At the moment I eat 140g of carbs on my training days and 100g of carbs on my non training days. I am skiploading every sunday, since I had great success with that approach. I am lean enough now to build some lean mass.

When I skipload this sunday, do I still need to increase carbs steadily during the next weeks ? I plan to eat approx. 400g of carbs during my "bulk". Maybe the skipload makes the small increasements of carbs unnecessary ? I just want to be sure , thanks

I’m not entirely familiar with skiploading, but Shelby Starnes wrote an article all about transition from cutting to a bulk:

That might help you organize things all around.

Berardi also had an old article about it:

Also, check this old thread about skiploading during a bulk. Might find some info in there:

If you’ve “only” been cutting for 6 weeks, depending on the results you saw, it’s probably worth gradually increasing both your daily intake and the skipload day.
