Did some more stretching, some foam rolling, shoulder dislocations, and dead hangs. Its probablythe biggest gap in my training, is just doing some mobility. I dont want to be a supple leapord, I just dont want to be a broken beast.

Switched back to squatting shoeless. After reviewing many videos of my front squats I noticed a trend of my outside heel lift off the ground during the lift. I mean I knew better than to squat in tennis shoes but was doing it anyways. I am planning on buying lifters at some point but until then back to squatting in socks.

One of the strongmen I follow on instagram has done a lot of that kind of stuff. Will probably do the whole thing black and it if it turns out maybe put some yellow accents on it. Nothing fancy.

I was feeling kind of smoked by this point, tried to dumbbells and it just wasn’t giving. So I went to the cable stack and did the remaining reps without resting. Did 10 on one side and then did 10 on the other, The only rest each shoulder got was the time it took the other one to do the 10 reps… Figured if I was stuck going light, might as well do something with it.

So since Monsters of the Mississipi has a max keg I figure it would be a good idea to train at the very least something similar to the extension of a keg load. One of the anytime fitnesses I go to got some super light fitness bags, which are just super light sandbags with handles on each side. So I hooked both ends onto the cable stack and worked extensions. 20lb Fitness Bag and 50lbs from each side of the cable stack.

Arm Over Arm/Sled Push Suicides
3 rounds with 90lbs of plate weight. Except for the last drag of the last round it was 115lbs of plateweight.

The final rep of the 8th set with the 50s was a gross grinder so I dropped the weight down for the last 2 sets so that I didn’t dig myself a hole I couldn’t climb out of.

Mockup of power stairs using a barbell and a plyobox. Kind of janky. I ordered a duck walk handle from Titan Fitness so I can train Duck walk and Power Stairs better.

Triceps were sore up until about 4 hours before this workout started. Had to do it later than normal too. Normally have Thursdays off work so I go to the gym right after class. Well it had to wait until about 1115pm tonight. Tired and grumpy but I still feel it went well.
