Training Through Pain: Where's Your Line?

While i agree to an extent, pain can turn into an injury pretty quickly.

This. I know there are absolutists who say you should NEVER train through pain, but frankly, if I never tolerated a little pain in my knees I’d never do anything but walk to the fridge. So I know during a good squat workout I’ll get some knee pain of maybe a 1 or 2 in due course, and it doesn’t really pose a problem. If it’s worse than that, then I know that something isn’t working for me and I need to change stance, load, or something else until it resolves.

It can yes, and obviously if the pain is getting to a point where you will get injured or you are injured, then things need to change a bit. While pushing yourself is a good thing there also needs to be balance

Pretty much how I approach it. Most times I will make the call after my warm up sets.
