Training The Deadlift

Louie Simmons has said that it can take up to 6 months of work to “bring up your hamstrings” What type of stratigies is he talking about? And is it more than doing sled dragging and accesory exercises?
Thanks

Reverse hypers, glute-ham raises, good mornings and sled drags.

Don’t sweat the small stuff. Are your DL numbers still improving? If they are still moving up, continue what you are doing.

If not. Find your weakness and target it…

I agree with the above statement, work the deadlift hard, but not too frequently, figure out your weakness and work hard to improve them. Videotape your deadlifts and review them with a fine tooth comb in order fine-tune your technique and finally-train in an atmosphere where you are not the strongest guy-eventually you have may have to travel do find that place. You dont have to do this each and every workout, but once a month works well do keep you humble and hungry.

best of luck
