Hey Jim,

I know neither split is better than the other, and that the core principles are the most important, but which would you give your seal of approval?

THU
Deadlift 5x5-5x1 + few back sets at 60% of TM
Press 5x5-5x1 + few back sets at 60% of TM

or

Bench 5/3/1 + 5x5 fsl

So you can only choose one, for the rest of your life?

What you choose usually has to do with where you are at, physically and mentally. There is no right or wrong answer here.
