Training for Youth

Does anyone know of any good books or articles on good free hand/body weight
workouts for children?

I am especially interested in increasing her vertical jump.

Are there any light weight workouts (e.g., light dumbbells) suitable, or
should weights be avoided entirely? What about light leg extensions to
strengthen knees and quads?

Don’t worry, I’m not going to jump into this–I’m just researching.
