For those of you, who have good lookin diamond calves. How did you go about training them. I'm stuck on a plateau of building and can't seem to get them sore. I'm lookin for frequency, time, reps, rest, feet placement and angles, etc. Any information will help. Thanks to all who post on here
Calve training sucks IMO. I don't beleive there is any single approach. High reps, long peak contraction, extended stretch work, heavy loads, toe-marches on the treadmill, etc. You can train calves every workout if time permits. Must do both standing and saeted variations.
Having great genetics helps.
But seriously, check out DC style training for calves. It works very well and doesn't take up a lot of your time. Personally, I have had the most success with donkey style calf raises using a squat/dip belt.
