Training Around an Extended Back

I read the article on here “How to train like a badass with a bad back” a while ago.

What happened? I extended my back and developed kyphosis. Two things are unrelated.

Now I am trying to make a workout plan to train my upper body and core.
So far this is my training routine: Run 3 times a week. Push ups sometimes.
The main purpose of the pushups is to strengthen the core while working upper body.I need to develop a workout plan so that I can actually do pushups on a set routine. I am looking on something to complement my pushups.
