Training, Age, and Nutritional Support

Thib,

When dealing with folks ranging from the most basic levels of corrective exercise all the way up to the highest level of athletes and varying in experience from rank beginners to many years in the gym, there are obviously going to be many different nutritional approaches.

I have two questions.

  1. At what point do you think a trainee is “ready” to incorporate protocols like the ones you are currently testing and refining? Should these be “saved” until a person gains more time under the bar or do you think that they should be incorporated right out of the gate if possible?

  2. If dealing with people in the very early stages of corrective exercise do you have any rules of thumb for determining when starting to include targeted workout nutrition becomes critical again and when the sessions are likely still too low in overall volume and intensity to warrant bringing out the biggest guns?

Thank you for taking the time to read my post…
