Torn Muscles

Hey guys, what do you typically do to help heal torn/damaged muscles? Tore a few strands (for a lack of better words)in my upper forearm which are totally messing up my workouts and taking forever to heal.

Right now on glucosamine and alto of EFA’s (fish and flax) which supposedly help, but any other tips would be great.

Your only choice is to give it complete rest. Sucks but true.
A TORN muscle will NOT repair properly if you keep using it and stretching the tear.

I’ve been in a damn boot for 3 weeks due to a torn calf muscle. I really wat to just dump the boot, but I know I’d do something dumb and tear it again.
Let the doctor advise you on healing time (sports medicine guy, NOT a GP)
