I live in Costa Rica where BCAA’s cost 500% of what they do in the states and leucine is simply not available. We can’t order supplements from outside the country or they will be confiscated by customs.
Anyway, I want to get a minimum of 5 grams of leucine PWO. What if I just do two scoops of whey instead of one? That will give me about 5.2 grams. I have heard something about too much protein at one time oxidizing, but I am not clear on how that works.
