Tofu - Protien Content?

I am planning to use tofu as a protien source (I’m vegetarian).
One brand I have come across has 2 versions of Tofu… one plain the other marinated.
The marinated version has 20g of protien per 100g… the plain one only has 10g per 100g…
Anyone know why there is such a big difference in the protien content??

The marinated one probably has added ingredients thus making the protein content higher.

I’d guess that the marinated version is denser - has more of the water squashed out. Can you tell what the consistency is of the two types? Is one significantly firmer than the other?

Are you eating that much soy will be good for your goals? At least take some Rez-V. There are many other protein sources that are vegetarian friendly that don’t contain soy.

Like- eggs, milk/dairy, protein powders, etc.
