I think is crap. You are certainly progressing by those other methods described other than increasing load, and the do lead to increases in strength and size. They should be used in conjunction.

You see just how much you’ve progressed when adding sets and decreasing rest time when you go back to you starting parameters and are lifting significantly more weight.

Yeah, I guess powerlifters at that level don’t consider improvement in work capacity to be progress.

It’s called volume progression. And if you haven’t noticed, everyone hated that article. I don’t know how it made it to the cooltips section.
