To Salt or Not to Salt?

But sea salt and himalayan salt aren’t iodized.

It’s the iodized salt that helps you, and most athletes are low in iodide. I think an article here was saying you can lose most of your daily intake just by sweating from an hour of training. And it’s critical for thyroid function.

Use what you like.

whether from sea a mountain or dug out of the desert.
Natural salts are better then table salts.
Table salt iodized or not is toxic and basically a poison.

Eggs Tuna Seaweed prunes Kelp or seaweed are all higher in iodine then
iodized salt.

I wouldn’t consider what I do anymore in the ‘gym’
or what most people here do in the weight room athletes.
that is another conversation.

There is no empirical evidence presented in the article-in fact some of the points have been proven to be false. Also there is no valid explanation for the contention. Removing elements from salt does not logically produce toxicity and non-iodized table salt is 99% sodium chloride. Also, the article is written by a chiropractor and the contention hangs almost exclusively on his “expert” opinion. Meet Our Founder — Dr. Edward Group, DC | Global Healing
