This tip article is on the front page again and I think it’s a bit of a strawman. Basically, it’s about a study that compared hip thrusts to squats and “Sure enough, both groups exhibited growth in their quads and glutes, but squats led to more than double the glute growth and about 6 times more quad growth.” The conclusion of the article is basically, “just squat,” but that is entirely the wrong conclusion. The point of hip thrusts is to grow your glutes without getting huge quads. The study validated that claim.
This is ironically…a strawman. From the article you posted: “Look, women who like big butts should keep doing hip thrusts because they’re a valuable tool to keep in their glute-building tool box.”
