I’m due for my first follow up labs since starting trt. I was prescribed one shot a week at 160 mg. I decided to take three shots a week. And drop the dose to around 120 mg a week total because I feel better doing it that way. Is it going to matter which day I get my labs done. Or does it need to be scheduled on the day after a shot.
Day of the shot, before you take the shot.
You should be doing labs no sooner than 6 weeks and at trough or right before your next injection. If you do labs sooner than 6 weeks, your lab result will not represent where your levels will be at the 6 week mark.
