Knowing the current research, has anyone tried restricting the caloric surplus to the time the metabolic rate has been raised by a weightraining session? In other words, on the day of the workout, overeating in the meals following training until sleep is 3 hours away; then the next day, bulking until 24 hours have passed since training. Maybe hypertrophy could occur along with a small use of stored bodyfat, without going for a 500 daily calorie surplus. Has anyone tried this approach?
I’m writing an article on this write now. Basically, its an update to the cheaters diet in which you overfeed after a hypertrophy workout. theoretically, it looks like a good way to substantially lean out while putting on a few lbs of muscle.
