I am perparing to do a 5-6 wk cutting period so I can get down to 10% bf. What are some recomended time periods between cutting and bulking phases? I know that after 16 weeks of a hypocaloric state one should do 6-8 weeks of isocaloric state to return metabolism to normal.
I think like almost every other issue to do with training and diet this has to do with what works best for the individual. I know some ppl who do best moving straight from a hypo. to hyper. diet. Through my own research I find that I do best nby being on a maint diet for a week or two befor miovung to a bulk.
So You simply need to experiment, document and learn.
