Can having low thyroid cause low T levels? Mine are at the very low end of normal. Does this effect T ?
fT3 is the active hormone which has a profound effect on every cell, tissue and organ system. We see a lot of subclinical thyroid issues with guys who come here and that begs looking for a connection. But perhaps the whole population has these low thyroid function problems.
So the answer is yes/maybe.
