Thoughts on Pork Skins

lol, i love them =/ i cant find another ‘snack’ thats carbless for when im about to pull my hair out due to hunger. thoughts?

They are pretty freakin delicious, when I can block out the image of where they came from. Pigs are pretty gross animals.

I try to stay away from fried foods in general because of the transfats, but if that’s you in your profile pic, obviously they aren’t doing you any harm. My low carb snack of choice is dill pickle spears–not quite carb free but close. Sometimes I just crave something crunchy.

And transfats do their damage internally, not just physique wise.

I think they’re fair game as the fat in them is almost 100% monounsaturated. Lonnie Lowery has mentioned them for protein-and-fat (P + F) meals and snacks. Pork rind-coated pan-fried chicken is great.
