Thor - Maybe They Cast This One Right?

Chris even suggested that the publicity photos making the rounds now showing him as Thor, blessed with godlike biceps, are somewhat enhanced.

“CGI,” he laughed.

Please take note that the photo of him on this page is recent.

Given the context of the interview, I think he was joking…

He shouldn’t joke about such serious matters. Plus looking at his current photo and others from the movie set, I don’t think he’s joking.

Damn. There’s a whole lot of comic book movie fans that have no idea they used CGI. Most think that’s all him. No wonder he walks around in long sleeves all the time. They probably instruct him to do that so that know one will figure out what they did.

Hell’s bells so does Chris Evans for that matter! Will it be a CGI build for Cap too? I wonder…

I guess it’s better than a fucking foam rubber Juggernaut.

Well hell. As long as it looks good and they are consistent I guess i don’t have a problem. However I still don’t see why they couldn’t have just found an actor that bodybuilds.

I think he was joking. The picture on this page does not look like a very big guy so I’m wondering why bother doing the cgi if your not going to go up a level.

No current photo of the man is going to show him as large…because he dropped the extra size after filming the movie.

There is a video 3/4 of the way down, I believe this would have been taken during shooting or soon after. Looks like he is having trouble filling that Medium shirt’s arms (Maybe a Large) look at 3:12-3:16, 4:10-4:18… All in all some of you are correct it’s not like he is that impressive in the main photo the OP posted but I saw the CGI comment and you know, right or wrong the media thinks this guy is jacked, X I think you of all people would agree he is most certainly not, but yes in better shape than current photos.

Why on earth would he drop the weight knowing there are other films coming where he’s going to need to be big again? Why not at the very least maintain until then? Seems like a lot less work then basically starting from scratch? I guess just CGI the whole damn thing, why even cast an actor.

Most likely so he can film other films before the Avengers starts filming nearly a year from now. It took him 6 months the first time, so he can most likely do it again in slightly less time.

Just watched the 5 minute preview from Comic Con, he definitely looks the part when moving around, so it wasnt just a carefully shot photo.

Guys, when are you gonna get it. We are the freaks (some of you more freakishly large than others) and everyone else is content to be fat or skinnyfat. I know that many of you lift to have the same exagerated muscles as our comic book heroes but the reality is that we are select few.

When this movie is released, we should all do our part. Go see the movie in some well fitting clothes and encourage the youth of America to aspire to your physical greatness. An added bonus is that you get to make all the fat slobs feel bad in front of their women folk.

If the others are broken, here’s one. I think I like the costumes much better now that I have seen how the rest of the film will look.

I have to say that looks bad ass, I can’t wait until that combine all these Super Hero’s together in on huge epic movie. I hope it’s 4 hours long.

Those links you guys posted don’t work but I just found this one. Click the link on the latest entry.

Edit: Right after I watched the trailer I refreshed the page with the link and it had been removed.
