Thinking of a Home Gym

I’m thinking of putting a home gym in my garage. Here are the things I hope I can put in there.

I wish I could get the vulcan racks from ironmind but unfortunately they’re out of my price range. I want to buy a platform but I think I might just end up building my own.

do you need bumper plates?

if not, this is a good value:

The vulcan racks are out of your price range, but the squat rack you list here costs more. I’m confused.

it comes with spotting pins so I won’t need to buy the pillars of strength

Would this be better than the lamar squat rack?

I got the pendlay bar (awesome bar and I got I great deal), some bumpers, some plates, a cheapo stand and a bench. Along with that stuff I went to the hardware store and got some 2.5" rope, made some fat handle DBs, made some boxes for highpulls/squats/plyos/etc and set up a pullup bar. The setup was cheap where I could get away with but good enough even in its simplicity that I feel no regret for dumping my gym membership.

Barbells, dumbells (pole)

Weight plates

Bench

Chin/Dip Stand (optional weight belt)

Thats how mine will look once its finished. Simple enough I guess.
