I don’t use “one” thick bar. The one I use in Colorado (in the videos and pics on this site) is different than the one I have at one. Both works well. As long as the thick bar is non-revolving you’ll be fine. For example, at home I have the "El Gordo: bar from Elitefts, which is the cheapest fat bar you can find, but it works well.

The reason for non-revolving is due to too much stress on wrists ?
