Squat
16,16,13,10,6 (I manned up and did 315 for the first time in 6 months. Close-calls do rattle you.)
-Drops-
12,16,20
Leg Press
20,18,16,12,10,6 (Wide foot placement, 8 plates per side max, knees to chest)
-Drops-
14,18,20,20
Stationary BB lunges
3x15 (I only threw a dime per side on, I was pretty toast by now)
Finisher leg extension
3x20
Straight-legged deads
4x12 (Hams were toast, quarter per side max)
Uni-lateral standing ham curl
4x10 per side
It was great to throw another plate on the squat. After limping along for a while, literally, I’m looking forward to moving some lightweight again (405 ass to grass). The pump after the working sets at the leg press was insane so I figured it would be even greater afte a few drops. All in all, it was a good leg day. The tall rack was clear (some guy wasn’t doing crunches or curls in it), I had some new tunes on my Ipod, and I had plenty in the tank. If I can walk tomorrow, I didn’t hit it hard enough.

The front squatting is pretty amazing. I thought I was doing well working up to front squatting 315 for reps. That video made me feel like a little girl.

Fuck it’s painful to watch that knowing what’ll happen in the end

Sometimes shit just happens. That guy clearly knows what he’s doing.
