I’m Michael from Western Australia.
I’ve beeen lurking on this site since just before christmas 2007, soaking up the articles and any other info I can find in the forums.
I’m 40yrs old now and am in pretty shocking shape.
I had always been pretty overweight in my youth, but lost a lot of weight when I was in my early twenties. I got fit and enjoyed the hell out of life until about 4 years ago when I sustained a back injury that caused some major muscle atrophy in the lower back area. At that point I fell in a bit of an emotional black hole and regained all the weight I thought I’d lost for good in my twenties.
I’ve just started making my way out of that hole in the past six months and am working at a diet and excercise program to get back to the physical state I SHOULD be in.
If the past 4 years have proven anything, its the importance of having my head in the right place, because from there all things are possible.
One of the things that kept me coming back to this site was the way it embraces and promotes ALL the key areas for physical improvement.
As I have said I happened upon this forum just before Xmas, just in time for the Physique Clinics. Those guys and gals are really impressive with their application to transformation. Ultimately, I think thats why I joined.
I just gotta tell that Bartl guy what I think of him-Awesome. And thats not a word I often use.
No doubt I will continue to learn a lot more things I didn’t know as I keep coming back here, might even contribute by making a post here and there- even if it is just to ask questions.
