The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

Would the Senators ordinarily vote to “KILL AMERICANS
FOR THE SUOER RICH”?

I don’t imagine Griffin would swallow .

Sneaky Republican devils! This was how they planned to pay for the revenue shortfall all along! @pfury @thunderbolt23 @EyeDentist @Basement_Gainz

I live in the most ridiculous state:

“Not a good idea, there are lots of reason to have an attendant helping, one is they need a job too. Many people are not capable of knowing how to pump gas and the hazards of not doing it correctly. Besides I don’t want to go to work smelling of gas when I get it on my hands or clothes. I agree Very bad idea.”

“I don’t even know HOW to pump gas and I am 62, native Oregonian…I say NO THANKS! I don’t want to smell like gasoline!”

“I’ve lived in this state all my life and I REFUSE to pump my own gas. I had to do it once in California while visiting my brother and almost died doing it. This a service only qualified people should perform. I will literally park at the pump and wait until someone pumps my gas. I can’t even”

There are 36 counties in Oregon and 18 of them will be effected.

The transients are out of control. They’ll stab you and your kids with needles. I don’t know how the pump attendants survive

LMAO! Some of those comments.

Actually, little known fact. You can pump your own car/truck, if it takes diesel. I had an old Ford 7.3 and would occasionally pump my own gas if I felt like freaking people out. I believe signs say there is a heavy fine if try to pump your own gas… I can’t remember.

Doesn’t New Jersey still have the same don’t pump your own gas law? I think they did at one point. I would be curious to know the history of that if it was to provide jobs to some people or what.

When I was younger I worked at a tire shop/oil change gas station place. This was rural Kansas and we still were full service station even though no one else ever was and we didn’t make extra from it. I didnt mind doing it especially when I saw how often old area farmers would smoke cigarettes while filling a gas can.

Sir let me get that before your dumbass blows this place up

Yea, NJ still has it. Tbh, the whole thing is kind of misleading. They asked people in Medford, which is Jackson county. That county has far more than the population minimum of 40,000. Also, they keep saying it affects half the population… What they mean is, there are 36 counties and 18 are affected, but that certainly isn’t half the population, it’s the 18th least populated counties.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven through Oregon on my way back from college and had to plan where I would stop for gas, because stations literally close after a certain hour. If there isn’t an attendant then you can’t pump your own gas at 2 am.

Ironically, as a kid, parents would say if you don’t finish HS/go to college, then you’ll end up pumping gas. haha some job

What a load of virtue signaling bullcrap. Yeah, if only they had better school buildings the murder rate would drop and the students could read at appropriate grade levels.

I tutored inner city kids one summer out of a brand new school building. I was talking to a custodian who told me the school is nice but they forgot to fix the community first. He also told me that on the very first day there was graffiti everywhere.

I guess we’ll see because $1B was raised to build all new schools two of which open this year (or last year) if I remember correctly.

We’ve got all that casino funding after all:

It’s that legacy of white flight, lol…

You can trace a line all the way back to slavery as a cause for certain issues. We have to be honest about that. But you don’t fix current problems by blaming causes that no longer exist.

Elaborate scheme to defraud FEMA of the huge total of… (drum roll)… $25k. That’s an incredibly small take to risk jail over. Go big or go home lady. At least she got undies out of the deal.

“According to the New York Daily News, Harris used the money for vacations, cruise tickets and her lingerie bill at Victoria’s Secret.”
