Do any of y’all know if the Sports Authority’s weight equipment is decent quality? They have a sale on a 300-lb Olympic weight set for $99.95 and, since I’m currently working out in my garage with a crappy standard weight bar with cement weights, I figure I ought to buy these Sports Authority weights. It’s probably not the highest quality equipment but does anyone see any reason why I shouldn’t get them? Do any of y’all have experience with their products? Thanks for any input.
As with anything from this K-Mart subsidiary, examine the bars carefully and pick the best one of the lot. Also, weigh the plates.
wts. are wts. I would go and get a high quality o-bar but it depends on how much you plan on loading on it.
