The Skinny Kid

I just started visiting the site so pardon me if the topic has been addressed previously…i am 18 years old and very skinny. i’ve been this way all my life and it is extremely hard for me to gain weight. i’ve tried lifting in the past and i can’t put on more than 5 pounds. i out eat anyone i know, so that’s not the problem. i know it’s usual for people to try to lose weight but i’m the opposite, so if anyone has a suggestion for me i’m all ears

  3. Read the FAQs
  4. Read the previous issues
  5. Use the search engine to the left!

Learn to approach eating like it’s your job. Six times a day should be your minimum. High quality protein, good fats, and good carbs. Check out the Massive Eating articles here at T-mag.

Thin people that can’t gain wait? No, that’s never been discussed.

First, start by going to the homepage (www.t-mag.com) and find the Frequently Asked Questions link. There are a LOT of ideas there.

Along with doing that, how about telling us more about what you are doing so that we can help you get where you want to go. Giving you directions to New York from Florida is useless if you’re living in California. So let us know how you’re training and also tell us what you normally eat in a day.

Don’t worry. You won’t be skinny forever if you don’t want to be. I imagine you’re still fighting your age, but it can be done. Don’t give up.

use the search engine to the left and look up the skinny bastard diet…it is a must read for a guy like you…

I would suggest that you check out the “massive eating articles.” They worked for me. Or do a search on gaining weight and you will get a plethora of different solutions.

Write down everything you eat for a day and add up all the calories. Chances are you’re not eating as many calories as you need.

Read Massive Eating by John Berardi in the previous issues.

Gaining weight is mainly based on the amount of food you eat. Keep a food log for a couple days to get your average daily caloric total. Then check out John Berardi’s Massive Eating Strategies to see if you are in fact eating enough. If you still don’t gain weight, then keep adding calories until you do.

Here is another article that might help you:
