In the case of priests, it may be who ever is available. Men in prison are not necessarily gay, but they have sex with other males while they are ‘in’. Otherwise heterosexual priests may prey on little boys because they are the most available prey. The whole idea of a celebate priesthood is a bit twisted to me - God made Eve (well, Lillith first, but that’s another discussion) so that Adam would have a companion, why does the church forbid the same union for it’s leaders?
