the protein exception??

Hey all,

I don’t think I’ve seen this covered before in any explicit detail, so heres my question:

How would only having one kidney affect the ability of the human body to handle proteins?

I ask because my girlfriend is a 1-kidney having vegetarian and as such would probably benefit TREMENDOUSLY from something along the lines of Grow! or LC Grow! in addition to her normal foods. My concern is that she might be representative of those “people who already had experience kidney problems in the past” that seem to be the main focus of a lot of studies on protein consumption.

Any ideas?
