How do we end up with so many thousands of people viewing our posts here? I’m constantly startled by how so many people are apparently looking at everyone’s posts, but apparently without commentary.
Welcome to the internet. The ones that comment are usually the ones to be concerned about lol

I’m not 100% sure how thread views are calculated, but I believe it counts one view per person per day.
I just tried this (very) informal test before and after popping into a thread:
I opened it again after, and the count didn’t go up. When I logged out and tried, it did.
Long story short, a “view” seems to be when someone (forum member or non-member) reads the thread once a day. I could be wrong, but let’s go with that.
