If I were to take on the program you outlined in the New HIT book with David Hudlow, would there be a way to do it by doing the Surge Workout Fuel workouts instead of the one set to failure? Or what would you advise? I want to lose body fat, especially around my midsection, but I’ve really been enjoying the workouts. I did the first four weeks then did 30-10-30 for a week while on vacation and now I’m back home.

Stick with the Surge Challenge, which includes some 30-10-30 thrown in. Focus on getting your arms and shoulders bigger and your problematic waist will look smaller.
