Ok, just to make a point. Allen Iverson was pretty dominant in bball...couldn't cut it in football. LeBron James is pretty dominant in bball...couldn't cut it in football. Just a couple for ya. I'm kinda kidding but, what I'm saying is just because a player changes his focus in sports doesn't mean they couldn't cut it. I do admit, that some TE's have had some great success in football that came from basketball. Let me put it this way. Lebron is a great athlete and was a good reciever in hs. Why was he a good reciever in hs? The samethings that made him good in football, make him good in basketball.
I admitted that Deon wouldn't have much success defending against Jordan in the paint posted up. I still believe that he could get some steals from him. Like Jordan could probably get some steals from Shaq when getting posted up. I don't think that Jordan could cover Deon or keep up with him on the football field. Bball has some good athletes, but it isn't all that really. Football is a much more complex game, and the skilled positions work on all of the things you listed daily.
