The More 'Moderate' Islam

What om the fuck is wrong with these people? I mean seriously. Killing your own child over a piece of cloth! I feel guilty when I wap my kids on the butt for talking nasty their mother!
Can sanity and Islam live together? Or do you have to be wacked out fucking crazy to be a muslim?

#2

I am going to assume that these are legit' questions.

Yes, sanity and Islam can live together. It is a matter of respecting other people's freedoms and resorting to violence only in clear-cut self-defense cases.

No, Being "wacked out fucking crazy" is not a prerequisite to endorsing Islam. However, it may be useful when going for extremist ideologies.

#3

Yup, killing people is a strictly Islamic deal.

WAIT! How could this be??? None of those people were muslim. I'm so confused!

Seriously, you're grasping at fucking straws. I realize why you posted this though, there's a huge fucking link/graphic for this story on the front page of FauxNews.com. Figures.

Honestly, thank you for taking care of that.

There are occurrences of domestic violence to this degree all the time in judeo-christian culture. The fact that you use this instance as an attack on a religion and culture is backwards in its own nature. I understand the complaint that fundamentalist islam is based on violence. But to use every instance that occurs within a muslim household as evidence against the nature of Islam becomes a tad banal.

#5

No, they were rhetorical and emotionally based.

#6

While violence happens everywhere, this kind of violence is epidemic within islam. If I were to point out every instance I run across I would surpass banal in about an hour and would push virtually every other topic off the board.

My original assessment was harsh and emotive, but there is so much violence in islam, it is hard not to be at times. I am also a father, when somebody hurts a child I get really pissed.

#7

Rule of thumb, leave no marks.

#8

It's worth noting that the murderous scum in this case is Pakistani.

I've said it before but it's worth repeating: Wahabism is very dangerous. People supporting Wahabis (think Reagan's "freedom fighters", the Al-Sauds, etc.) are just as dangerous.

#9

None of these killings had anything to do with religion. The muslim woman was killed because she wouldn't wear a head cover. Show me a Catholic who killed a girl because she wouldn't wear a rosary; maybe I can see a connection and believe you.

The man obviously had psychological problems just as did the people I listed, his religion didn't do it. To suggest otherwise is fucking asinine as hell.

People snap. It happens. Regardless of race, age, religion, etc. This thread is so fucking stupid.

Islam 2000 = Christianity 1500

I've gone after Lixy on many things. But one thing he's dead right about, Saudia Arabia is a pit of vipers. Yes, I know if the Royalty fell, an even bolder regime of enablers (hell, outright supporters of) Islamic seperatism/terrorism would rise up. Sorry Lixy, but Islamists would rule SA. An anti-jihad regime will not rise in SA without serious intervention (i.e. occupation and social engineering).

As I said in another thread some time ago, let them fall. The current regime is, at the least, hopeless in combatting Jihadists, if not out right enablers of. This isn't a blame America position. This is a "well, you did next to nothing, screw off. And I suppose we'll be at war with the Islamic Regime that will overthrow you," position. Damn, that was overly long.

And finally, here's a series of videos touching upon the Saudi conncections to Jihad preaching clerics in the UK. Chilling stuff. Watch all six parts. Note that these are suppossed to be moderates!

#13

Oh, as for the topic, you're supposed to beat the woman.

#14

That is a plausible scenario. I prefer the one where democratic institutions are set up and the Wahabi ideology decays.

Let's face it: the Al-Sauds ARE Wahabism.

But it might. Between a 50/50 chance of rooting out the evil, and a 100% Wahabi totalitarian regime ruling the country, I'll pick the former anytime.

That would be the most sensible thing to do.

Saudi Arabia is doing far more to destabilize Iraq than Iran could ever hope to achieve. The bulk of Al-Qaeda is Saudi. I sincerely fail to see how things could get any worse there. But assuming it does get worse, and the subsequent regime threatens your country, that'll be a nice occasion to whack them.

But the consensual American foreign policy isn't about making sense. It's about making money, winning markets, and an ever-expanding sphere of influence. That's why the Washington establishment needs the Al-Sauds. No matter how badly the Saudis screw up, the White House will always find a way to blame someone else for that. Damn petrodollars!

#15

That sums it up.

#16

A pigs life has more protection than a muslim womans. Islam is a vile evil belief system. The sooner we are rid of it the better.

#17

So why participate in it?

#18

Not me. I prefer a west freindly dictatorship, lest we end up with another Hamas style goverment.

#19

If you're a Christian, I shall laugh at you.

#20

HEY WAIT !!

In the abovementioned cases none of the perpetrators did it becuause their religion told them to do it !!!
