Alright folks, here is a crunch developed by a trainer named Dan McGinnis to target the abs from the bottom while hitting the hip flexors. The best thing about this exercise is that you can add weight to it.
Hook your feet up to a cable and pull the legs stragiht up until your knees hit your chest. If you want to get a little bit more of a crunch be sure to continue the motion and slightly lift your hips off the ground at the end.
