The general practitioner who prescribed TRT is out of business, I am currently seeking a new damn doctor. I guess based on what I understand thus far, I’ll be needing some sort of thyroid scrip, but should I stop the TRT now?

On the depression, vitamin D is pretty high, I’d ditch the supplement for a while. I’m really sensitive to depression, and notice it (and increased anxiety) when I get close to or beyond 70 ng/mL. That’s even with in-range calcium levels. I know that sounds counterintuitive; we typically hear that vitamin D helps fight depression and it does, but too much works the other direction for me. I’m much more comfortable and stable between 40-50 ng/mL.

Thank you. I will play with my vitamin d and see if that helps. I really appreciate the input.

You appear to have hypothyroidism. Do get AM and mid-afternoon temps. Talk about your use of iodized salt or vitamins that list iodine. It is the effect of taking or not taking these for years that counts.

Is your thyroid sore, enlarged, asymmetrical or lumpy?

Pissing is a hallmark of diabetes. Your fasting glucose is low, I would be wondering if A1C test might show something. If that ruled out diabetes, then one would be looking for other causes.

Temp this AM was 98.1.
Iodized salt in my vitamin = 150mcg and I take one a day tops and often forget to take it. I have been taking the same vitamin for 4-5 years. I had over the past couple of years shifted to sea salt because it was “healthier” and have been back on iodized salt for the past 6 months or so. I add salt to everything I eat. I eat mainly at home and my wife cooks with both sea and iodized salts.

Thyroid feels symmetrical and is not sore.

I will get new Doc and get A1C test done for Diabetes. God, I hope I can find a decent doc quickly. I really hope I haven’t developed diabetes on top of hypothyroidism. That just sounds like a special kind of hell.

thank you so much for your time KSman.
