The Left vs. the Left

Okay, boss. You’re right. Everyone got together, held hands, and sang we are the world thus ending slavery. Those tens of thousands of soldiers that died didn’t happen…

The rest of your post is just as bad.

Fees have increased 10 fold in the last 17 years in the UK. This is almost certainly as a result of Tony Blair’s education policy.

It’s funny that he even brings up slavery as if that is in any way analogous with capitalism. lmao.

He also failed to note that capitalism is what has ended slavery in terms of human history. Up until we had it, the human race had slaves. Every civilization, throughout time had slaves. It only took a couple thousand years for it’s “internal contradictions” to “come to be too much” in his pea brain, not, you know, the first real and major experiment in capitalism.

Lol, ya… I guess we’re just going to ignore all of the “internal contradictions” in socialism, communism, and Marxism that left places like Venezuela in complete shambles.

These thread never cease to entertain, though.

Does war negate internal contradiction, boss?

Good lord… You asked how slavery ended. The answer is, bloodshed ended slavery to the extent that it has been ended. It wasn’t “internal contradictions” coming to light.

So, if you think capitalism is such a failed experiment then I’d suggest you pick up a weapon. I’d suggest the fine workings of a Colt, lol.

If capitalism helped to end slavery what did feudalism do in it’s time? As wages become more and more suppressed people will not have the money to purchase that in what they produce. If the majority of people who spur on a consumer-based economy, what happens when they don’t have money to consume?

WHo gives a shit? Who wants to go back to feudalism?

Assuming they are even being suppressed, and prices aren’t going down, then sure.

Who says we will stay a consumer-based economy? Who says they won’t have money to consume?

You’re making this false assumption that one piece of the equation is more important than the other. It’s not. The worker aren’t more important than the owners, who aren’t more important than the employees or customers.

It’s a triangle really, and you have the balance the three.

Now, admittedly your largest complaints are with ultra large mega corps, who just like unions and government get more and more corrupt as they grow in size. But they don’t employ as many people as smaller companies in the US. If people voted with their dollars rather than try and “kill capitalism” this wouldn’t be such a problem.

Because feudalism replaced slavery until it’s internal contradictions broke it’s back, then came capitalism which is going through a similar process.

Corporations try to get cheaper and cheaper labor until the workers can no longer afford to purchase that which they produce. The economy sputters and a depression or repression presents itself again. Another reoccurring problem.

What does the economy become if it is not consumer-based? As wages are falling they will have less money to spend.

LOL. Your understanding of history is fucked. Straight fucked.

Not even remotely true, at all as a generalization.

An accurate generalization would be “companies are willing to pay people what they feel they are worth, given the specifics of their company.” There are zero moderate to large law firms who only hire the cheapest applicant. Zero research based organizations who only hire the lowest paid applicants.

Now does a Wal-Mart or Taco Bell look for “cheap” labor to do the jobs that require low skill to complete? Yes. And the best among them either leave after schooling or get promoted, meaning they need to find someone else to fill the skilless role.

This happens in all systems, throughout all of time. Jesus do you have any education in economics besides what you’ve googled?

Service based, modern-manufacturing, research & development based…

I don’t know. No one in 1816 would have guessed where we’d be at 1916, and would shit a brick if shown 2016…

Assuming that is actually happening.

Feudalism replaced slavery, LMFAO, another wonderfully hilarious quote from Zep…

So big deal. They did it wrong. How many restaurants close run the traditional way?

The only correct thing you’ve ever typed.

And how many closings are there of restaurants in the “free-market” system?

Quite a few for a number of reasons. How many are successful under the “free-market” system and how many worker owned restaurants even exist and/or are succesful?
