I started lifting weights consistently in October. I’m 22 (23 in 5 days), 5’10", 185 lbs (I started the semester in the low 170’s). I’ve been active my entire life, and consider myself reasonably athletic and I’m definitely not afraid to work. My primary goal is strength and overall athletic ability, but some size gain would be welcomed. I’ve been reading T-Nation for awhile now, and have learned a lot and want to continue to learn as much as I can.
After awhile, I started a journal to track my progress.
I’m looking for advice from more knowledgeable people. If you have anything that you think I could change, the advice is welcomed. I already know I’m really weak (esp. in the squat), but that’s why I’m doing this.
I’m also leaving today to go home for Christmas break. I won’t have access to a brand new $24 million fitness center, but I’m going to buy a 300 lb. barbell set and workout at home all break.
