How has the gov, involved it self in health care ?

I’m gonna answer your question with a question. Steriods have proven to help people with AIDS from wasting away. So if they can help sick people, how come you can by then over the counter in Thailand but not America?

We agree to that point
I think if our market were “freeer” health costs would go down. A free market would promote more competion. more competion would promote the better INS companies because nobobly would work with the ones that suck. Costs would go down. It would be a situation very similar to auto insurance. The auto insurance industry isn’t as regulated as health care. Their are all sorts of auto insurance choices out there. Healthcare not so much…

If it were any more free, we would multiply the INS. Companies not paying for services and kicking sick people out of their coverage the would disallow more coverageâ??s because they would broaden their term of preexisting condition.

It is like Madoff, our Gov. says you are not allowed to steel from people and if you do we will put you in jail. That is a regulation or law our Gov. created to protect people from predatory practices.

With auto insurance, you never had to have it until the 80â??s they designed the law that every body had to have Insurance, Why do you think they did that as opposed to everybody insuring them selves. In my opinion it is because our Insurance companies are VERY powerful.

I think all the DISINFORMATION that has come out in the health care fiasco. Comes back to those powerful Insurance companies

Which in turn comes back to…?

You are going to have to tell me if it is not power INS co.s

It is simple.

INS. Companies are making the same decisions that you are claiming our GOV. has no right to make
The gov’t has no right because it cannot collectively decide what is best for everyone else. Without gov’t protection insurance companies must work under voluntary contract (something that is also nonexistent under the notion of socialized medicine) which means both parties have obligations to each other – the insurance co to pay claims and the customer to meet the insurance co’s requirement. This is the only way it can work properly. Insurance companies must be able to decline service to bad risks just as casinos must be able to kick out the people who seem to always “win”.

I would imagine a system that never has blackouts or brownout or any other kind of shortage related outages. I imagine a system in which every person in CA doesn’t have to fear that all of his perishable items will go bad in his refrigerator and that the AZ power cos don’t have to bail out CA power cos with extra capacity. Imagine that!!

In the meantime I am grateful to not live in either CA or NY.

No I do not think our Bureaucrats are all honorable. But at least they are not driven by bottom line only
Everyone is driven by the desire for profits – psychic and or monetary. Bureaucrats are no different its just their bottom line is usually to obtain more control over people’s live – i.e., more power. I prefer the honest but greedy CEOs who must compete for my money than the bureaucrats – who no matter how bad they seem to fuck up always end up getting more power over us.

You call a public health program FASCISM.You are wrong, I think you are making claims that you will not be able to defend. That is when I called you a pussy because you would defend a position I thought indefensible
You clearly do not know what fascism is. It is a corporatist-statist partnership where protection and favoritism are bought by corporations and sold by politicians. That is the system we have. That you can not see it does not make it any less true.

Multiple (quote) and (/quote)‘s for each of the lines you are quoting. Don’t say I never helped or "cared’.

Something called personal responsibility. Pay for your own med costs and you will make healthier decisions.
