Coach Davies - the volume of work you incorporate into a workout is astonishing. Would you make any adjustments for the “aging athlete” who is training for health/looks as opposed to competition? Also, how to you address muscular balance to ensure potential problems are not being developed?
Al-I always make adjustments. My biggest problem with publishing is that ignores that every athlete is different and that to truly coach, adaptation is key. As it pertains to balance, it is my belief that functional training reduces injuries as it helps us to perform tasks better whether they be on the field or in life.
