It seems that 1/2 of the programs I try (from writers of T-Nation), the third week is a killer.
For instance, Hybrid Hypertrophy, on the last set of an exercise where you do 3 reps of your 3RM, this week I couldn’t get the third rep on deadlifts. So I go and do 12 reps of my 14RM of squats then rest 3 minutes. I go back to deadlifts, but this time, I just got one rep up (barely), where I should of got 2-3.
I thought I remember Chad or another writer telling us why the third week is so tough, but maybe I’m mistaken. Any thoughts/opinions would be appreciated
