The 1500 Workout/Modified 300

Im making this because i need something extremely difficult. Ive been doing conditon style training for a while now. Just yesterday i did 40 sets no rest between sets plus my sprints and barley even broke a sweat. Ive been doing training like this for about 4 mths so i need something to take me over the top. Heres the workout im going to keep carbs high protein high fat low-moderate.

Sunday Rest

I love it. Can you post videos of this?

Am I reading this right? You’re going to do 1500 reps on the first day? … if so… holy shit. Good luck. Curious to see how you feel when you make it.

Have you even done the 300 work out?

If I didn’t know any better I would swear you only come around here to generate negative attention.

The workout seems intersting, I wonder what kind of injuries it will produce :frowning:

If you are training for speed twice a week I dont think 10 sec rest will be enough recovery time between you 100 yard sprints. But maybe endurence is the key here, good luck with the program.

Dude… that is way way way too much volume for a regular person to handle.

I love the effort bro… but you’ll blow yourself out. If you want a good plateau cycle man I have one, so let me know.

Brendan

Please video record some of this.

Only you would post this.

1 rest day?

Um… Interesting…

Question though, what will be your choice of footwear for this workout?

What will your bodyfat be when you complete this training?

Wait! This is the bf shoe guy right? HAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHA

Oh this is gona be good…

Honestly, I doubt you’ll get through the first 300… It was meant as a test anyway; not an actual workout.

heres the workout i did before this i was doing those sprints with 15 seconds rest so i decided id drop it 5 more seconds. Mind you i was doing them in the frezzing cold in a tank top so im used to some hard work but heres some of my past workouts that i was doing.

this one takes just about 2 hrs
Week 1

Monday

5x10-depth jumps 6-12 inch box
5x5-Max height Jumps
3x5 Squat Jumps
3x5 Ankle Jumps

Snatch-5, 5,3,3,3
Clean-5, 5,5
Jerk-5, 5,5,5
Explosive Box Squat-8x2

AB CIRCUIT-pick any 10 ab exercises reps 10-20 reps it should be very hard-30 sec rest
10x100yd sprints-15 sec rest between each set

Tuesday
Agility-pick 10 agility exercises-complete circuit rest 30 sec rest each circuit-10 circuits total-total time about 40 mins

Strength work
Back squat-8, 6, 4, and 4
Front squat-5, 5
RDL-5, 5, 5
Bench Press-6, 5, 4, 4
Close Grip Bench-8, 8, 8
DB Biceps Curls-3x5
Preacher Curl-2x10
Upright Row-3x10
Lat Pull Down-3x10

AB CIRCUIT-pick any 10 ab exercises reps 10-20 reps it should be very hard-30 sec rest
10x100yd sprints-15 sec rest

Theres some examples of what im currently doing…im used to high volume and long workouts so i feel im ready i will report results today.

Could you tell me the point of it?

The workout won’t make you faster, look better, stronger, (sport-specifically) more functional, more resilient etc.

The only thing that could theoretically improve (whole body strength-endurance) won’t, because the program isn’t really well-put together.

I hate to agree with someone from Michigan, especially one that’s giving me the finger, LMAO! But He’s right. What are your goals anyway? Looks to me like your only goal is to have a really cool looking workout?

well i tried the 300 workout lol…Not as easy as it looks i tried for 1500 before i felt like puking. I got 900 reps though today good workout tommorw agility and sprints. Then rest then monday back at it again 900 reps in a little over an hour…great workout highly recomended if you want something difficult.

Hey, if you can finish the 1500 workout, you must be the Andy Bolton of the strength-endurance world. The only person I know who has the genetics to do that kind of volume is Arnold during his BB days. For most of the population, doing it would be stupid.

I like the 300 workout as a general testing ground for me. I do the workout as fast as I can, and time myself. While I think it’s a good measurement tool, I don’t think it’s necessarily a good training tool. I’ve only tested myself on it 3 times in the past year.
